Carpathian Safari

About

A family of guide-wardens who've hunted these mountains for three generations.

Carpathian Safari SRL is a Romanian outfitter founded in Brașov in 2008. We don't franchise. Every hunter who books with us is hunted by us.

Master guide on Carpathian ridge

Three generations on the same ridges

Our grandfather hunted bear with horse and breech-loader on the same slopes where you'll stalk yours. The mountains haven't changed; the technique has. We've added thermal optics, satellite communications and helicopter trophy extraction — but the ethic is unchanged: fair-chase, free-range, taken at the right moment by a hunter who earned it.

We turn down hunters every season. We don't take parties of six. We don't allow shooting from vehicles. We don't bait beyond what the law and the season require. What we offer instead is the deepest, most successful hunting program in Eastern Europe.

What we stand for

Built on four uncompromisable values

Ministry-licensed

CAEN 0170 commercial hunting license. Quotas issued by the Romanian Ministry of Environment.

47,000 hectares

Exclusive contracts across Bucegi, Făgăraș, Apuseni, Maramureș and Eastern Carpathian terrain.

Master guide-wardens

Every expedition led by a state-certified guide-warden with minimum 15 years on the ground.

Gold-medal trophies

127 CIC gold-medal entries since 2010. Spring-bear success rate 89%, red-stag 94%.

Where we operate

Our concessions span five distinct ecoregions: Southern Carpathians (Bucegi, Făgăraș, Piatra Craiului), the Apuseni Plateau, Maramureș, the Eastern Carpathians and the Danube Delta wetlands. Each terrain is run by a specialist team. You'll meet them on day one of your expedition.

The Romanian state owns the wildlife and issues the quotas. We hold the management contracts and the responsibility — to the species, the landscape and to you.
